Ellis County Rural Heritage Farm - a Quick Look
To preserve and to promote public awareness and appreciation of the natural and farming heritage of rural Ellis County, Texas.
Location and Association
The Ellis County Rural Heritage Farm is being developed in association with the Ellis County Museum, Inc. in Waxahachie, TX. The 145-acre farm (the Aday Farm) is a remnant of the original 460-acre Marvin W. & Mattie F. Aday Family Farm. It is physically located 2 miles west of Waxahachie just off FM 66 at 130 Cunningham Meadows Road.
Directions: Go approximately 2 miles west of Waxahachie on FM 66 and turn left/south at the flashing yellow light on to Cunningham Meadows Road. The farm is immediately to the right on the west side of Cunningham Meadows Road, on a hill.

The farm is currently in the planning and development phase in association with the Ellis County Museum, Inc.

Additionally there is information as to how individuals, corporations, donors, and other interested parties can become a part of this exciting addition to the historical preservation of Ellis County's rural heritage.
