The Master Gardeners Expo on Saturday, March 23, 2024, 9 AM – 4 PM at the Waxahachie Civic Center, 2000 Civic Center Lane, Waxahachie, TX 75165 was a great success. Visitors enjoyed learning about beautiful spring plantings from knowledgeable and helpful Master Gardeners. Kids had a lot of fun in the Children’s Workshop Area in the Crepe Myrtle Room where the Rural Heritage Farm featured making seedballs with a variety of wildflower seeds that the kids could take home and plant in their own yards and watch the flowers grow. Younger kids, but also lots of older ones, too, tried their hand at making colorful butterflies out of coffee filters and pipe cleaners of all things!
