The historical and architectural significance of the Prairie-style McKinney-Aday Farmhouse has been acknowledged by its being awarded a Historic Waxahachie, Inc. marker in 2012 and designated as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark by the Texas State Historical Commission in 2013. The beautifully restored historic farmhouse is fully appointed with early to middle 20th century furnishings to reflect the home life of early Ellis County farm families.
