Construction of the Meeting Pavilion by Shane McKinley, 4Mc Construction and Remodeling, is complete. The Farm gratefully acknowledges grants for the project from the Ellis County Historical Commission and the Waxahachie Foundation; the donation of logs for constructing the pavilion from Thomas and Ashley Fabby with Liberty Tree Service; and generous donations from Rural Heritage Farm Members, Board Members, and others. The Meeting Pavilion will provide a sheltered gathering place for attendees at the Farm’s events and for school, youth, and community groups to participate in regular programs and activities at the Farm.
