Rain Ranchers LLC designed and installed a rainwater harvesting system at the Farm thanks to a generous grant from the Prairielands Groundwater Conservation District (PGCD). Harvesting rainwater is a great resource for reducing erosion, preventing stormwater runoff, and alleviating demand on aquifers. We are delighted to partner with PGCD and Rain Ranchers to collect and provide rainwater for the kitchen garden and livestock at the Farm as well as to make visitors aware of this water-conserving option for their own property.
