The Ellis County Rural Heritage Farm Inc (ECRHF) values your support of its efforts to preserve and promote public awareness and appreciation of the natural and farming heritage of rural Ellis County, Texas. Membership gives you the opportunity to learn about — and help others learn about — a way of life that is quickly vanishing from our view.
ECRHF is a 501(c)(3) corporation [EIN 82-3089147]. Yearly membership and life membership contributions are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
Your membership helps us:
- Preserve our history — Help preserve the Farm’s historic buildings, artifacts and the stories they tell about Ellis County’s agricultural heritage.
- Educate future generations — Support educational programs that bring the history and experiences of the early 20th-century family farm to life.
- Keep history alive — Help us continue offering free public living history events that celebrate the small Ellis County family farm and its vital role in establishing the cotton industry that helped lay the foundation for our county’s growth and economic vitality.
- Support our schools – Help us keep field trips affordable for public, private, and homeschool students, giving more children the opportunity to experience local history firsthand..

A Note About Membership Payments
We are now using Zeffy as our primary payment option. Zeffy serves more than 100,000 nonprofits and uses the Stripe payment system while charging no processing fees to nonprofits. That means your entire membership contribution stays with the Farm to support our programs.
During checkout, Zeffy may ask you to add a tip to support its platform. This tip is completely optional. If you prefer not to tip, simply select “Other” and enter $0. There is no additional cost to you to use Zeffy, and the Farm receives 100% of your membership payment, whether or not you choose to tip Zeffy.
Prefer PayPal? We continue to accept membership payments through PayPal. However, if you are paying by credit card, we encourage you to use Zeffy, which allows the Farm to keep 100% of your membership payment.
