Kids can have a lot of fun in the Children’s Workshop Area at the Master Gardeners Expo in the Crepe Myrtle Room on Saturday, March 28, 2026, 9 AM – 4 PM, located at the Waxahachie Civic Center, 2000 Civic Center Lane, Waxahachie, TX 75165. The Rural Heritage Farm will feature making seedballs with a variety of wildflower seeds that the kids could take home and plant in their own yards and watch the flowers grow. Younger kids, but also lots of older ones, too, can try their hand at making colorful butterflies out of coffee filters and pipe cleaners of all things!
