Back Porch

When you exit the house via the back door after seeing the other rooms in the house, you will be on the back porch.

The room-like section of the porch on the left is an all-seasons porch and may have been a winter sleeping porch.

The rocking chairs and the majority of the artifacts on the built-in bookcase in the all-seasons porch were owned by the parents of Lu Ann Aday, Marvin and Mattie Aday.

The screened-in section of the porch on the right may have been a summer sleeping porch for children.

Both porches required extensive restoration and are currently useful, functional additions to the house.
