Kingdom Explorers Homeschool children and parents enjoyed a fun and educational “Day at the Farm” on Friday, October 24, 2025, with interesting interactive living history demonstrations of late 19th and early 20th century farm life, including butter churning, pecan shelling, hand laundry, corn shelling & grinding, bee keeping, hand plowing, children’s games, and a tour of the historic McKinney-Aday Farmhouse, as well as optional stations to learn about Blackland Prairie natural and farming history, roping, a grist mill and early farming equipment, and to enjoy children’s stories and craft projects.
