The Prairie Wildlife & Wildflower Adventure on Sunday, April 27th, was a lot of fun! Visitors enjoyed going on wildflower walks led by knowledgeable guides with a passion for native flora, watching the awesome beauty of bees and butterflies alighting on the wildflowers, doing fun crafts that featured learning about the floral treasures and wildlife of the Texas Blackland Prairie, and visiting the chickens, goats, and horse in residence at the Farm. A special thanks goes to the Indian Trail Chapter of the Master Naturalists, the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, and the Native Prairies Association of Texas for all that they did to make the event such a great success.
