The Ellis County Museum donated items related to the farming history of Ellis County to the Rural Heritage Farm. The items will be available for display and/or demonstration at the Farm. Donated items include equipment needed for taking care of livestock (barbed wire, cow bell, horse/mule collar), farm carpentry tools (cross-cut saw, one-man bow saw, planer), farming equipment (fodder cutter, corn sheller, grist mill), and a 1925 wringer washing machine.
